WINNIPEG, MANITOBA – Famed Native American musician actor, speaker, author, and entrepreneur Gary “Litefoot” Davis will serve as the Co-Host for the prestigious 2015 Indigenous Music Awards, taking place tonight in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at the MTS Centre. This is the 10th edition of the awards show, which was previously called the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards. Litefoot’s music career dates back to 1991, when he became the first American Indian rap artist with the release of The Money E.P on his own recording label, Red Vinyl Records. He has won both “Album of the Year” and “Artist of the Year” honors from the Native American Music Awards. He is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.
